Door entry systems
Door entry control systems are today considered essential for the development of flats and offices. The concept of an “open door” policy is, in todays environment, all too often an invitation to the wrong sort of attention.

A telephone entry is probably one of the simplest ways to control who enters your property when you are there, as well as ensuring that the main door is always locked.

Systems can range from a simple one way telephone entry in a small office reception to a far more sophisticated Multi Way Video System in a luxury block of apartments.

As a company Galloway’s have access to all major manufacturers and suppliers within the industry and are able to design supply and install systems ranging from small office receptions or blocks of flats up to luxury apartment buildings with 999 call points. We work closely with the client at all times during the design and installation process to ensure the system meets all the client requirements providing good security, deterrent and equally importantly good aesthetics. Our innovative approach ensures that non standard functions can be included to give systems a distinctive and original outlook.

Access Control
Domestic

For large luxury apartments in city centres controlling ingress to the car parking facilities is often of paramount importance.

Either by coded keypad, swipe card or keyfob access can controlled for residents only and with the anti passback features once a card or keyfob has been used to gain access it cannot be passed to another individual to gain access. With the addition of number plate recognition systems unauthorised access can be tightened significantly.

Industrial
The importance of access control goes far beyond car parks of course and many factories and offices need to control access to restricted areas such as R&D departments, computer suites etc. Often times of entry as well as who is authorised for entry can be extremely important.

This can be achieved with either Keypads or swipe cards but for specialist and sterile environments proximity tags can used ensuring hands free operation.

Access systems can be linked to CCTV systems to provide real time recording in the event of attempted unauthorised access.

Swipe cards can also be used for “clocking on” systems ensuring that management always have information about who is on the premises and at what times. Contractors access can also be tightly controlled and this is often tied in with Health and Safety applications ensuring that no contractors can gain access if their Health and Safety induction has expired.

Sophisticated computer software coupled with CCTV can ensure that security officers can ensure that the person using the swipe card is the person authorised to do so.

All Galloway’s systems are installed to the highest standard in order to give efficient trouble free operation for many years.
